Each summer since 2006 the Topaz Museum Board and the Utah State Office of Education have held a three-day workshop in June on internment while focusing on Topaz. The class is held in the Salt Lake City area with one day of instruction followed by a bus trip to Topaz. The last day brings former internees to the class to recount their experiences and tell about the lasting effects of camp on them and their families.
Qualified teachers should apply through the Utah State Office of Education's Social Studies department toward the end of the school year.
